World of Warcraft patch 3.3.5 goes live tomorrow, Grim Batol previewed for Cataclysm
ruby sanctum lootThe Ruby Sanctum Raid won’t be available tomorrow as patch 3.3.5 is expected to go live in the US for the current Wrath of the Lich King expansion. The rest of the world will have to wait until the following week. The Ruby Sanctum raid will be delayed on US servers one week so that it will be available for everyone to raid at the same time before they can loot their free ilevel 271 and 258 gear. Make sure to check out the entire 3.3.5 PTR patch notes for a preview of the patch. The biggest addition in patch 3.3.5 will be the Real ID, which will allow for gamers to connect with their friends across factions, servers, and games.
Just before the weekend started Blizzard announced another environment preview for the Grim Batol level 85 dungeon for the Cataclysm expansion. Players will need to assist the red dragonflight in driving out the Twilight’s Hammer cult and “putting a decisive end to the foul machinations developing within… the dungeon of Grim Batol.” The beginning of the dungeon will start off with a bombing run while flying on the red drakes on a set flight path to thin the ranks of the enemies within the dungeon. No word yet on how many bosses will be in the dungeon but as soon as we find out we’ll be sure to pass the information on to you. For now check out these screens of Grim Batol below. You can see a Faceless One as well as a warlock or summoner character dressed in the usual Twilight’s Hammer garb that you can find in Silithus. I wonder if that means if you wear the 3 piece set you can walk through the dungeon unharmed?
